Journal #11: Advice

What is an advice? It is an opinion or recommondation that guide usually to the right way. It depends on who gives the advice. Does he or she have enough background about that advice? Often people ask for advice when they can't choose the right decision or they aren't sure about their choice.

When I graduated from high school, I wasn't sure where should I go? Join the military academic and become an officier or go to the college? My brother, who is Colonel, has a great experience in that field. I asked him whethere should I join the military or not? He said, " Military life differs from civil life. You will face hard life as an officier and you will face many problems. However, this will give you a good experience and teach you how to deal with life difficults. If the time go back again I wouldn't join the military! " When I heard these words, I started to decline to the college side! Since I like convenience life, I took my brother advice and I went to the college.

There! In the college I went to Computer Science School and I majored in computer engineering.
I had a fear to fail in that major because it is really hard. Again, military dream comes now and start to drill in my brain. A friend of mine knew about this and encourged me to be positive and try to be on the top. His words fuel me to do my best and overcome hard situations. I really value these advice from my brother and my friend because I got a good job after graduation from the college and my employer gave me a scholarship!

During my life, I have given some advice to my relatives and friends. One of the best was a recommendation to buy shares in the Saudi Stock Market before it crashed. I recommended to my relatives and friends to buy shares from a company. The price for each share was $30. In a month, it goes to $62! The most funny thing that I sold my shares after a couple days of the recommendation with less than %5 of profit!
